I say they saved them four times, when they stopped the Syrian revolution and kept Israel's border guard Bachar Asad in power.

In fact if you follow Iran's official statements you'll see them clearly telling the US in an indirect way, either you accept us as an influential power in the region or you will never see stability and we will keep on threatening your allies, on the other hand if you accept us, we will protect Israel for you and be vanguards in the American battle against terrorism.
