Salaam alaykum wa rahmatullah,
Not knowing what is so pressing on our scholars but if I were one of them, I'd have ceased to take the high road and put this descendant of Genghis Khan in his place once and for all.  He made the mistake of crossing paths with Ustad Sadat and had to run with his teeth kicked down his throat.  On neutral grounds, they should make a spectacle out of him.
