I was told by someone (the person is a Rafidha though) that the eidul Fitr that we prayed on Friday was on the wrong day and was suppose to be on Saturday.
-
And he said after the prayers Saudi later on declared that they made a mistake by declaring it to be on Friday and therefore those who prayed on Friday have fallen on "Kafaara" and must fast the two(2) months consecutively.
-
And I want to know how true is this information .
-
It was a hoax and rumour that started in 2011. Like the same rumour that said that the moon will do 'tawaaf'. Your Shia friend is a liar : :-\

Great.
But is not a friend though. Is one of the Rafidha Sheikhs that we have here .

If it's a myth/rumour then I'm not surprised that a Shia scholar believes in it.

But it was reported by "Sunni" sources!!!! ;D

I do not think that any scholar has ever said that those that ate thinking that it wasn't Ramadan need to fast two months, since this was not an intentional action.
