This is a very beneficial skill that was done by some of the Salaf:
You probably get o much junk mail. Instead of throwing it away, why not recycle it and make your own paper (saves you money) that you can use to write notes or even a mushaf or whatever?

It's very simple lol. You just get some material (old papers, wood, old clothes, whatever, but the easiest is old papers), put them in water and grind them up to a pulp, spread the pulp on a screen and just wait to dry. Done lol
You can literally do it in like 5 minutes. The drying part will take either another 5 minutes if you use an iron or like a day if you just leave it out to dry

I don't write anything because my handwriting is terrible. I just type :D

When we say it was the salaf who did this? Do we mean the companions (RA), and their successors?
