Title: Hypocrisy
Post by: Pearl on April 14, 2017, 11:05:48 PM

It's very strange how Sufis go around condemning Shias yet they are no different than them. Sufis also call upon their saints and do grave worshipping. People tend to think Sufis are happy dancing sect but that's not true they are just as dangerous and love anything but the Sunnah. If anyone calls them out they reply with " you filthy wahabi salafi". There is no sect called wahabi, shaykh Muhammad ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhab refuted Sufis and Shias and that's why the Sufis and Shias hate him and lie against him. Shaykh  Ibn Taymiyyah also refuted Sufis and Shias.Salafis are those who are upon the manhaj of the salaf. Salafis don't call people towards innovation like Sufis do.  Some of these Sufis are also Satanist.

They are different reasons why these two groups oppose each other. Sufis oppose the 12ers for having takfiri views against the sahaba.
As for shrines they actually share a mutual respect for each other. Also some 12ers say some Sufis are really 12ers doing taqiyyah when they see them praising the Ahlul bayt.

It doesn't matter if twelvers and Sufis don't get along. Both are deviant groups that don't follow Islam.

Sufis are of different types. There are lots of pseudo Sufi groups nowadays.

Sufism is not from Islam.

It is a serious case of hoping upon hope for the 12ers: If for nothing else, because the definition of 'Ahl ul Bayt' is totally different between the 12ers and all other groups, be they Neo-Salafi, Sufi, or otherwise.

There is no such thing as neo salafis. Ikhwanis like saying they are salafis just like Sufis say they are Sunnis.

ibn Taymiyah had some Sufi beliefs. He was part of the Qadiri tariqah and said that he even had Shaykh Abdul Qadir al Jillani's cloak.

If Ibn Taymiyyah had some Sufis beliefs than why do Sufis hate him?

They were unable to refute him when he made an opposition.

Most people hate these two people you mention due to how far away they are from Tawheed.

The early 12ers were way further away from Tawheed in comparison. Shaykh Mufid actually had to study under the Mutazilla to learn. Even Shaykh Saduq tampered with hadith.

Now let's open up Hisham ibn Hakam's beliefs on Tawheed.

H 280, Ch. 11, h 5
Ali ibn Muhammad, in a marfu‘ manner, has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Faraj al-
Rukhkhaji who has said the following. "I wrote to Imam abu al-Hassan (a.s.), about the words of Hisham ibn al-Hakam, about the body and the words of Hisham ibn Salim about the form (of Allah). He wrote in reply, ‘Remove from thyself the confusion of the confounded people and seek refuge from Allah against Shaytan (Satan). What the two Hishams have said is not correct. (al Kafi)

Both of these scholars refuted grave worshippers and called people to tawheed.

Sufis come in different stripes. The people of Tarim are Sufis but they are some of the greatest scholars of the Ummah and have very little in common with the grave worshipping Sufis of Morocco and India.

Likewise, Shaykh ul-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (r) belonged to a Sufi order (Qadiriyyah) but modern day neo-Sufis hate him because he didn't dance in circles around graves.

We shouldn't generalize about large groups of people as they are not necessarily always the same.

All the same to us. Sufi, Salafi, Wahhabi, Sunni, whatever. You are all mukhalifeen. The only reason why we focus on the Salafis a lot is because they are the most violent and dangerous. They are also the ones with the cash and the ones who have 24/7 propaganda and conspiracy theories against the Shi'a.
