Iran's politics on Hajj stampede
« on: September 27, 2015, 10:30:02 AM »
The stampede tragedy shocked the heart of every Muslim around the world and hope saudi government will release the investigation report ASAP to stop various conspiracy theories circulating on media. but in the meantime Iran who has already started playing politics and his President Hassan Rouhani has used a speech at the UN to call for an investigation into Thursday's stampede. Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir who is also in New York to attend the UN General Assembly, said: "I believe that the Iranians should know better than to play politics with a tragedy that has befallen people who were performing their most sacred religious duty."

according to latest report by khaleejtimes, accident occurred after a group of around 300 Iranian pilgrims failed to follow orders requiring them to wait for clearance to leave Jamarat..so hopefully next time Rouhani will also criticize Iranian pilgrims who have caused this stampede.
