Muslims as well as non-Muslims admire and quote their ideas and beliefs regarding the attributes and personality of our third Imam, Imam Hussain (a.s).
During his time, there was the ruling of the Muawiya and Yazid, insisting upon their followers to deviate from the teachings of Islam and to give confirmation upon the modifications made by them in the true Islam.
Imam Hussain (a.s) was also threatened, but he continued to walk on the path of Islam and kept fulfilling his responsibilities as an Imam of Shias.
Imam Hussain (http://Imam Hussain)(a.s) all across the globe is recognized due to his acquaintance, faithfulness, liberality and sacrifice.

Imam Hussain (ra) was so much beloved by our holy prophet (saw). The master of the youth of paradise not only lived but also got martyred in a manner which further strengthens his credentials.
1. i guess i would first like to congratulate you on believing that Islam had atleast remained "true" till that time bcos shia people mostly would claim that Islam was hijacked and distorted right after the demise of the holy prophet (saw).
2. as Imam of Shias? who were those Shias and where were those Shias? Please explain.
