Request to Ibrahimovic
« on: April 24, 2017, 02:53:52 AM »
For those of you that don't watch football, please take a look at this:

https://youtu.be/VSmxbPd1PTI

Only a few days after a Shia brother registers with the name Ibrahimovic, we find him jinxing the footballer in a career-ending injury.

I know what everyone is thinking.

Please brother Ibrahimovic, put up Bashar Al Assad as your avatar again!

I kid...

Hahahahaha. That's a good one I must admit.

But why all this hatred to Bashar Al-Assad? It confuses me how the last standing Arab leader who has not bowed down to imperialism is hated so much by the Arabs themselves.

And it's not just religious Sunnis that hate him (because he runs a secular state for example), in fact secular Sunnis, non-religious Sunnis, and pretty much every single group in Arab society including a great deal of Arab nationalists hate the guy.

It just shows you how far propaganda can do. The same people clapped for Saddam Hussein because he was, as they say, "a lion and a hero of the Arabs against the outside forces". To me it all comes down to:

1) Extreme propaganda and billion dollar Qatari/Saudi money fueling this hatred in terms of news media coverage (fake news, propaganda when reporting the Assad crimes in the form if fake photos, videos etc...).

2) Assad is not a Sunni. Saudi Arabia has been big on promoting anti-Shi'a propaganda (particularly after the Hezbollah victories) because they fear increasing power and sympathy towards Shi'i movements or Iran. So by producing this generation which has a huge anti-Shi'a mindset not just in the religious realm (this is centuries old) but in the modern day political world, everything that is remotely Shi'i will be demonised (unless the Shi'i is a sellout) and you will see tons of conspiracy theories against the Shi'a the same way some unbelievers and anti-Islam propagandists talk about Islam. It's sad and pathetic.

3) It is within the interests of the imperialist powers to have Muslims fight each other (sectarian conflicts) and to encourage such revolutions especially against governments they view as adversaries or potential adversaries, especially in a sensitive part of the world such as Syria.

4) To destroy the Syria-Iran alliance which is currently the only alliance in the Middle East which commits itself to the Palestinian cause.

Brother, not everyone believes in the same scenario or political theory you have. For example, most people think Bashar doesn't care about Palestine, and that the whole thing is no more than a bunch of empty slogans. You do your own research, I'm just commenting on the fact that you don't understand why other people may have an issue with Bashar.

People who say that have no idea what the Syrian Government has given to the Palestinian cause. And in fact, if you are Lebanese (I think you are), you should be thankful they helped liberate your lands.

I know full well. I'm done with these "liberation" groups, our youth have been taken advantage of enough.

I'm not gonna comment on politics, especially not in this thread. I just want to point out that I'm not a fan of Saddam.

And it's not just religious Shiites that love him (because he runs a secular state for example), in fact secular Shiites, non-religious shiites, and pretty much every single Shiite group in Arab society including a great deal of Arab nationalists as well as sectarian Shiite militias and the main Shiite country Iran love the guy.

1) Extreme propaganda and billions of dollars of Iran money fueling this hatred in terms of news media coverage (fake news, propaganda when reporting the The killing Assad has done indiscriminately , videos etc...).

2) Assad is a Shiite and Iran has been big on promoting anti-Sunni propaganda (particularly after the Hezbollah victories) because they fear increasing power and sympathy towards Sunni movements or Sunnis. So by producing this generation which has a huge anti-Sunni mindset not just in the religious realm (this is centuries old) but in the modern day political world, everything that is remotely Sunni will be demonised (unless the Sunni is a sellout) and you will see tons of conspiracy theories against the Sunni the same way some unbelievers and anti-Islam propagandists talk about Islam. Iran needs to stop this crap and stop promoting what is a dead sect.

4) To destroy the Sunnis and their influence in Syria which are currently the main players in the Middle East which commits itself to the Palestinian cause.

Now that is better 👍

The same can be said about the 12ers. A large portion of Khumms is invested toward antagonizing  Ahle Sunnah. The Sahaba especially Umar is responsible for all of the worlds problems according to the 12ers. In fact, the 12ers are joining anti Muslim groups and saying yes what you are saying about Sunni Muslims is true  and the root cause is Umar and co. Also the 12ers are saying ISIS is a representative to  Abu Bakr and Umar. All the unity talk was a deceptive tool used to give dawah, because the hatred the 12ers have is so bad that they themselves are afraid to admit it, and they use taqiyyah to cover it up.

The 12ers only are interested in the Palestinian cause due to dawah. They want to monopolize the emotional attachment of the Ummah, so they decided to exploit this cause for their own benefit. Palestine is not really loosing from Syria. If anyone is a loser its the Hezbullah, and Iran.

Yea, but the facts say otherwise my friend. Daw'ah is important, just as Daw'ah to tassanun is important in your view. But the fact is our sahih narrations tell us to have good relations with the non-Shi'a. I am not even that much pro-Unity as much as some other brothers, but I believe it is great if the Sunnis and the Shi'a got along and tackled issues which affect both sides, together. And one issue is the issue of Israel and Palestine.

The Twelvers are not only interested in Palestine because of daw'ah, the Twelvers are interested in Palestine because our religion tells us to stand up for the oppressed. And yes Palestine is a loser, because all the other rich Arab states are not interested in Palestine at all.

I don't recommend you discuss Palestine and politics here during your stay, it's up to you. This is a chance you have at discussing `Aqidah, Qur'anic-recitation, Tafsir, Sunnah, Tarikh/history etc... with members who are very open-minded and have invested much of their time studying these topics. What good will Chechnya or Palestine do to you if you discover something serious about your beliefs, something that YOU can change (unlike politics that's not in our hands).

I don't wish to discuss politics at all, but I won't back down from defending the Shi'a from political propaganda. I am not a fool, I am not an idiot. I wish to indulge in religious discussions with Sunnis, but my main goal here is to defend tashayyu from some of the lies that are being thrown around against us. Alhamdulillah.

Its not going to happen. And the reason is very simple. If 12ers see first, second and third to be the  enemies of the Ahlul Bayt then when then Sunnis are always going to suspect taqiyyah and deception from them. Also, Palestine is not a 12er Shia issue. They have bigger issue to deal with such as Bahrain and Pakistan. Yet for some mysterious reason we have a Quds days, but no day of the year dedicated to the 12er Shia oppression in Sunni countries. The worst is the reaction of this oppression is firstly  to blame on Abi Bakr and Umar, next for the Sunnis who have nothing do with the conflict are accused of being responsible simply because they are not interested in 12er Shia Islam.

Its it strange. Jihad was suspended till the appearance of the 12th Imam, yet now the 12ers are interested in Palestine. What about Pakistan and Bahrain? I would point out Saudi Arabia, but I think Nimr went against the principal of taqiyyah and got himself killed. If someone in Iran shouted the way Nimr did in Saudi Arabia they would have met the same fate. Again I am  not saying he deserves it, but anyone knows the repercussion of being vocal against the Saudi government. I am still wondering why I see more taqiyyah done in trying to tell Sunnis that 12er Shia Islam isn't really about Tabarra and Tawalla, instead of taqiyyah really being used to save ones life.

Also, Iran leadership itself is a big form of oppression. Anyone regardless of being Sunni or Shia will be silenced by the Iranian regime for having disagreement or any form of criticism against the supreme leader. This is a fact.
