Title: The Guardian: Shia leaders in two countries struggle for control over Iraq...
Post by: MuslimAnswers on April 18, 2016, 07:59:29 AM
Salam Alaykum,

I know it is from non-Muslim sources, but the Guardian is respected for its journalism:

http://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/apr/15/shia-leaders-iraq-iran-ayatollah-ali-sistani

(For me, this shows that for all the talk of 'Shia being oppressed', power is power, when one tastes its deliciousness, it is very difficult to let go, and even the top Shia clerics are not immune to this reality).

The problem with us Muslims are that we always fall for the entrapment of either Shayton, or his followers. This exact thing happened right after the death of our dear prophet Mohammad s.a.w (the reason for Sunni Shia division) and it has been happening ever since. The job of Western Zionist controlled media is to brainwash and control over mass, specially to create division and chaos in the Muslim world and give a bad image of Islam for the Western audience to counter Westerners conversion to Islam. If it wasn't for the Zionist controlled media, who portrays Islam as terrorists, backwards, half of Westerners would convert to Islam, if not more. Did you know that Sistani is originally from Iran and not an Iraqi citizens and he cant vote for election in Iraq?? Of course you didn't know that, the Guardian News did not tell you this! I am new to this site, just a little info about me, I seek truth and only interested in truth, even if it gets me banned from this site, this is the way my religion has taught me, I am not here to please anyone, I am only here to please my creator. A note to website: Please take off Sunni Shia options from the "religion" section, neither Shia is a religion nor Sunni, our religion is ISLAM!

I know, but it seems like: "Here we go again" :P

(Not to say there are not open-minded people, but talking about Zionist conspiracies from the get-go in connection with a straight-forward and well-known, well-reported facet of Iraqi politics is normally not a good sign).

It was also Zionist media that infiltrates Shia books and fabricated every Hadith that makes the Sahabah look bad. The Zionist goal was to portray Muslims as terrorists who beat up the daughter of their prophet and to make Muslims appear divided and weak.
