Title: What is the ruling on meat sold in Iran?

What is your all's opinion? I personally do not eat it.

Halal!!

Even the kosher meat sold by Jews is Halal.

Its halaal. Some Muslim fiqh allows non zabeeha meat and non kosher meat. As long as its cut by ahle kitab. The point was the scarifice of meat cannot be done of another name but God.

But why?? They are shi'a.... I cannot say that it is haram, but don't you doubt it?

Is it not true that the Jews only say a blessing at the beginning of the slaughtering process and not on each animal? For instance, if Rabbi is slaughtering 10 animals, He says name of God or Allah (or whatever they say) on cow #1 but not #2-10. I have in fact confirmed this from a kosher certifying agency by contacting them (OU kosher).

I am under the impression that the animal must be slaughtered and the name of Allah (subhaanahu wa ta'aalaa) must be pronounced, by either a Muslim, Christian, or a Jew in order for meat to be considered halaal.
