Here is an episode of Dragan Ball where the Guru transfers power.
Now refer to the 23 min mark to see how the 12th Imam will have this power.
-
First of all, all miracles are done by the permission of Allah and there is no limits to Allah's power.
Second of all, the Holy Qur'an mentions the miracles of the Prophets, and one certain miracle is Prophet Isa (as) reviving the dead. Do you dare compare the Prophet Isa (as) to Dragon Ball Z characters - cause I remember when I was little there was a little green guy that had powers of healing people.
Third of all, you might be surprised about what Ibn Taymiyyah mentioned a wali from the awliyah of Allah is capable of :p

I agree.

The dragon balls can do this via the dragon. However, the issue its limited to people who die within 3 years.

The issue comes in understanding some concepts like ilm al Jafr. Also, these miracles of awlia are not binding on people whereas we have to believe in the miracles of Prophets.

The issue is not whether it is binding or not, it is whether one is capable of such extraordinary things by the Will of Allah. Clearly there should be no issue.

The imams before in your sect all did Taqiyyah, all of sudden the last one comes with this super power.

Imam Al-Mahdi (as) is going to be a ruler. There is a clear difference.

What about Husayn bin `Ali, he was not a ruler and never practiced Taqiyyah?

Yep. What of it?

So were Imam Ali(as) and Imam Hassan(as).

Yep. What of it?
Husayn = No superpowers = Rebelled with the sword without Taqiyyah.
12th = Superpowers = Didn't rebel and insists on Taqiyyah.

I don't believe that the Imam (as) will fight his enemies using i'jaz. I believe he will fight naturally. I have not seen strong proofs which say he will fight using i'jaz. That doesn't negate him from performing other supernatural things by the Will of Allah (swt).
But just because Imam Al-Husayn (as) didn't show super powers (if that is true) that doesn't mean Imam Al-Mahdi (as). Like I said some Prophets showed more miracles than others.

Alright, this
Husayn = Rebelled with the sword without Taqiyyah even though he was outnumbered.
12th = Didn't rebel and insists on Taqiyyah even though he has millions of followers.

Once again its like Dragon Ball. Will the Mahdi go Super Saiyen?

Lol
This thread made me laugh.
Sadly the beliefs of twelvers is such that we can't take them serious.
History testifies that the ahle bayt were not divine super beings. They were normal humans. Some more knowledgable & pious than others.
Two leaders amongst the muslims would be most deserving of being attributed with supernatural powers (which we don't believe) due to their success in leadership.
The two greatest leaders in history after the seal the Holy Prophet SAW.
No one amongst the sahaba, not Ali or anyone else had the leadership qualities of Abu Bakr & Umar. History testifies to this.

What is funny is that somehow you disregard that the awliyaa are incapable of karamaat. Do you not believe in karamaat?
And there are sahih Sunni hadiths mentioning the super powers of Umar.
-
Karamat is one thing, but exaggerating is another.
No where is there any sahih hadith giving Umar control of the universe etc.

Actually the Imams (as) can only do what they do from supernatural feats by the Will of Allah. It's not like they are supermen.

Let's discuss that here.
