Recalling the stampede, a Pakistani teacher described how he saved his wife during the stampede in Mina by pulling her from her wheelchair.
Alamzeb Khan, 48, and his wife, who was suffering from a high fever, were almost killed when the crowd panicked.
“It looked like the Day of Judgment,” he said. “To save their lives, some pilgrims trampled other pilgrims as if they were not human,” he said.
According to Khan, the stampede occurred when two groups of pilgrims, some from Iran and some from Africa, crashed into each other.
If that is true, then we can assume most victims would be from Iran & African groups. Anyone knows the numbers??

When it said 'Aftican' I assumed 'black'. So after adding the dead+injured from Wikepedia. I got around ~186 dead Africans and a total of dead and injured ~409 (black) Africans while Iranians were ~239 dead and a total of ~253 injured and dead. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015_Mina_stampede
