I think he is trying to argue that we should follow Jewish books because the one who allegedly created our sect according to him was a Yemeni Jew. He is Sunni but an extremist. Just like we have 12er Shia extremist and they too can justify their behavior through the 12er Shia books. When Muawiyah took over after Imam Al Hassan his followers the Syrians mixed with the ummah which earlier were separated under the rule of Imam Ali (as) and Imam Hassan (as). Also, many who fought under Imam Ali's (as) caliphate also mixed and this became what we know as Sunnis.

On the contrary when such actions happen we must refer to the Quran where it states " And no burdened soul can bear another's burden" (35:18)

In the aftermath of Imam Hussain (as) the 12ers blame Sunni ideology and the Sunni blame the Shia ideology. However, the reality at that time was it was the people's own actions that made them come to such decisions.

So if either Sunnis and Shia does something wrong by using their own books, it doesn't mean all the people of the schools are in agreement with the references used by the extremist.
