The iranian gov & hezbollah have really got themselves in a mess. Decades of shia playing clever tactics to be accepted as a 'fifth madhab' have been undone by the their involvement in the syriam war.

This is one of my issues with the resistance. I never understood this pampering to our opponents and trying to get an approval from them. It is clear that Sunnis and Shi'a do not see eye to eye in matters of religion.

 I would agree with you, but they were smart in allying themselves with Russia. The Iranians had no choice but to get involved. Assad is one who funnels weapons to Hezbullah from Iran. Imagine if Iran didn't get involved that flow would come to an end. Then whoever would take over would go after Hezbullah and wipe them out. So before all this could have happen they stepped in, and turned this into a Shia\Sunni conflict.

They couldn't care less. In their view when the 12th Imam comes, this is destined to happen. The 12th Imam is then going to take action and tell the Sunni world either you become a 12ers and curse the 1,2,3 or don't call yourself a Muslim.
Just look at Naskhawani, he got a hair transplant to improve his looks, and now he is frustrated with  the Sunnis in Iraq for not becoming 12er Shia. Year back when he was bald the same man was shouting at Yassir Habib. Today we learned that, even the anger was a form of taqiyyah.

Because you're honest but you do not yet see the historical dishonesty of Shia leadership throughout the ages, if you did see it you wouldn't trust them with your religion.
