In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
May Allah help me
Narrated, Shiekh Abu AlQasim Abdullrahman ibn Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn Sa'id AlAnsari alBukhari said (and this was read before him [for authenticity approval?] in Makka may Allah protect it, in year 435 [AH.]):
Abu Muhammad Abdullah ibn Musafir told us: Abu Bakir Khalaf ibn Omar ibn Khalaf AlHamadany said: Abu AlHasan Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Azma said: Abu alhasan ibn ali alTanfasi said: khalaf ibn Muhammad Alqatwani said: Ali ibn Salih said:

Quote:
a man among alrafidhah [rejecters shia] came to Ja'far ibn Muhammad alSadiq karrama Allhuwajhah [may Allah bless his face] and said
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatu Allahe wa barakatuhu [peace, mercy and blessing be upon you]

and he responded to this greeting
Quote:
1- the man said: O the [grand] son of Allah's messenger! who is the best among the people after the messenger PBUH
Abu Ja'far said Abu Bakkir alSiddiq may Allah be pleased with him

Quote:
2- he said: and what's the proof of that ?
he said:
The saying of [Allah] Azza wa Jal [the mighty glorious]:
{

If ye help not (your leader), (it is no matter): for Allah did indeed help him, when the Unbelievers drove him out: he had no more than one companion; they two were in the cave, and he said to his companion, "Have no fear, for Allah is with us": then Allah sent down His peace upon him, and strengthened him with forces which ye saw not
}
and who will be better that two the third of them is Allah [ie. Allah supports the two of them]
and who is better than Abu Bakir except the prophet PBUH ?!
Quote:
3. The Rafadhi said: Ali slept in bed of the prophet PBUH without Jaza' wala Faza' [ie. without scare nor fear]

Quote:
4- the man said: Allah said the opposite of what you say, Ja'far said: what did he said:
Allah (s.w.t) said: {and he said to his companion, "Have no fear, ..."}
so isn't this scared man frightened ?

Ja'far said: no being sad [like Abu bakir] is different from being scared and frightened, abu Bakir was sad because he was caring about the prophet PBUH not to be killed and thus the deen won't be established,
so his sadness was to the Deen and to the prophet PBUH
and how! he was stricken by hundred of Hareesh (vermin, scorpions, snakes things like those) and he did not say حس ولا ناف [and he did not produce any sound so that they won't notice them]

Quote:
5- the Rafidhi said:
then Allah said

Your (real) friends [guardians] are (no less than) Allah, His Messenger, and the (fellowship of) believers,- those who establish regular prayers and regular charity, and they bow down humbly (in worship).

it was about Ali who gave away his ring for charity while he was bowing
and the prophet PBUH said praised be [or thanks to] Allah that this verse was about me and my household

Jafar said: the aya (verse) just before that in the same surah (chapter) give much more importance

O ye who believe! if any from among you turn back from his Faith, soon will Allah produce a people whom He will love as they will love Him,

and the murtadeen [those who turn back from Islam by not paying Zakat yet they kept doing Salat]
appeared after the prophet where the [nomads] Arabs
turn back and the disbelievers [ie. the murtadeen] gathered in nahawand
and said the man used to make them victorious died
and Omar said [to abu Bakir] why don't you accept prayer from them
and left the Zakat for them and Abu Bakir replied
If they stop paying iqal [a humble invaluable thing] they used to pay to the prophet then I'll fight them alone even if they were more than the number of stones and Mudar and and spikes and Trees and Jinns and Humans

so this verse was about him and it gives him much importance

Quote:
the biggest proof that Abu Bakr is the best is the fact that the Prophet peace be upon him chose him to lead the prayer while he was sick.
several prayers indeed. so add s to the red word

BTW: the AlHamadanies who narrated the story about Jafar above are the sincere followers of Ali and his sons.
but Rafidhah don't have any science of narrations they may accept a narration by an unknown man because he could be sent by the hidden Imam AlQaim.
