Mu'awiyah was a good man and Rasul Allah certainly had love for him because he gave Du'a for him and gave him land. So Rasul Allah clearly saw good in him. And to be honest looking at his actions and character in the books of history confirm that. People overlook how much this Ummah, Sunni and non-Sunni alike has to thank Mu'awiyah for. Even to say he was a Dhalim is unfair let alone to say he's a Kafir.
