How do the leaders of this site have so much knowledge?

Dear people in charge of TwelverShia.net and TheSunniDefense, how did you learn all this detailed stuff on the Shi'a religion? Are you students of knowledge? Do/did you study Islam formally?

Step 1- Know basic Arabic
Step 2- Patiently read a lot of books (pdfs, the more you read the better your Arabic becomes)
Step 3- Learn opponent's arguments to see if your beliefs hold up
Step 4- BE HONEST & SINCERE
Step 5- BE READY TO CHANGE BELIEFS YOU GREW UP WITH
