قال مندوب مدينة طهران في البرلمان الإيراني، علي رضا زاكاني، المقرب من المرشد الإيراني علي خامنئي إن "ثلاث عواصم عربية أصبحت اليوم بيد إيران، وتابعة للثورة الإسلامية"، وإن صنعاء أصبحت العاصمة العربية الرابعة التي باتت في طريقها للالتحاق بالثورة الإيرانية


[Representative of Tehran in the Iranian Parliament `Ali Rida Zakani -Who is close to the Iranian guide `Ali Khamina'i- said: "Today, three Arab capitals have become in Iran's hands, and they've become followers of the Islamic revolution." And San`a' (Yemen) is the fourth Arab capital which is on its way to joining the Iranian revolution.]


The three Arab capitals he speaks of are Beirut, Damascus and Baghdad.
