Not the most important of topics, but yes the figure of 20 million attendants is thrown around these days [especially now, with the stampede of illegal Iranians trying to cross into Iraq, and the damage control by the Shia Public-Relations].

20 million's nothing. I've read numbers as high as 42 million, lol! Shias are such gullible people.

Salaam.

Is(are) there any method(s) of knowing the accuracy of the claim made that 20 millions Visitors came to Karbala.

Seeing the pictures of Karbala we can't guess the actual figure. Based on what proof/evidence did the claimers of 20 millions Visitors reach this conclusion?

See this picture you have attached bro Ijtaba, just by looking at it I can estimate they're between 70,000 (seventy thousand) to a 100,000 (hundred thousand).

Truth is we can never really know how many there are, but we can estimate reasonable figures, like if the maximum capacity of this area cannot handle more than a certain number (mathematically speaking) then some sectarian freak comes and claims the number present was ten times that amount, we know for a fact he's lying.
