Response to Brother Hakim from SC
« on: June 24, 2016, 07:13:23 AM »
Alsalam alaykum,

A brother, named Shaikh Hakim on SC, has responded to Ibrahim Al-Rahili's criticisms against Tijani by implying that Al-Rahili has manipulated the content.

See here for his comments: http://www.shiachat.com/forum/topic/235039482-sunni-response-to-muhammad-tijanis-books/

Background: Al-Tijani makes a claim that there are over 150 verses that have been revealed about the hypocrites in Surat Al-Tawba and Surat Al-Munafiqoon. Al-Rahili points out Al-Tijani's gross mistake by stating that Al-Tawba and Al-Munafiqoon are not 150 verses long, and much of them have nothing to do with the hypocrites.

The brother from SC, Shaikh Hakim, may Allah guide him, put the effort to cross check some of these references. By returning to an online copy of Ask Those Who Know, he found that Al-Tijani has said, "more than a hundred and fifty verses were revealed in chapters 9 and 63 and other chapters?" (p. 180)

See here for book: http://lib.eshia.ir/70613/1/180

Of course, this led me to look into this further, and it turns out that the brother was quoting a new version of Ask Those Who Know, which was published by Markaz Al-Abhath Al-Aqa'ediyyah.

By returning to the original version of the book, which was published by Mu'asasat Al-Fajr, we find that Al-Rahili's quote is accurate (p. 119).

See the original version here: http://alhassanain.org/arabic/?com=book&id=635

In conclusion, Al-Rahili, who wrote his book in 1418 AH (1997/1998) was attacking Al-Tijani's original argument that was made in 1991, when his book was published. The updated version of Al-Tijani's work was printed in 2003, after taking into consideration the responses of Al-Rahili.

This is a clear attempt on the part of Al-Tijani and/or the publishing center to save face.

Now you need someone to post it there for then to read it.

PS. as we discussed earlier, I did find a mistake on al-Rahili's part, I'm surprised they missed it due to their terrible Arabic.

So it seems they're terribly angry judging from their reaction in the SC thread.

One of their intellectually inferior members "abu Jafar Herz" wrote the most comments, it seems he was more angry than the others, he wrote in an angry tone:

"Your website isn't academic."

Why aren't we academic? We accurately translated the work of a scholar, then presented it respectfully on your forums for you to review it and criticize it. Why aren't we academic then?

Let's review some of the comments you and your friends made on the SC thread to see if you guys are academic in the first place. Here are samples quoted from SC:

"Just because some nasibi is making a circus out of genuine work for one of our brothers, shouldn't make us go and attack our brother"

"Every stupid is opening a blog and Exposing other sects. Why not use those Expose  there Good deeds too ?"

"you on the other hand only know to criticize others but when your lies is exposed, you run away without accepting the fact"

"There are some Sunnis who do not like a book written by a ex-sunni who became Shia. I am shocked. They should accept him with open arms - as open arms as the Caliphs had for the Ahlulbayt."

"You do realize that "twelvershia" is an anti-Shia wahabi site. Their sole purpose is to discredit the shia school of thought.

You might as well be asking Hitler his opinions on Jews."

"Don't you people have jobs or something to do with your lives?"

"Your website is a joke. Literally every single article on there can be easily refuted by any competent person. In fact, your website is such a joke we actually let you post your links to it because we think its cute."

"You're just crying like babies that a Sunni left your banu umayya cult."

"I am not going to visit that site because this is a cheap way to advertise for your site, i do not like cheap ways. It is like the scam links with flashy ads on internet."

"Abul hussein al hassani" reminds me of that boy you find at the swimming pool walking around all confident  and arrogantly with his chest puffed up. If you say anything or even look at him on a moment's notice he will run back to daddy"

"The only ones who benefit from such sites are the ones who already have a negative opinion just to see it confirmed. Wahabbi and Nasibi groupies."

-------------------------------------------------------

It looks to me that we're very respectful and academic, you guy's aren't the least bit respectful and academic.

One them was so academic that he made a comment about a completely different article, he responded to our Kulayni Tahreef article. Even his response was irrelevant to that article, he wrote something unrelated and it seems he couldn't understand our article. It also seems he's okay with Kulayni believing that verses regarding Ali were omitted from our Qur'an in a way that doesn't change the context much nor affects the rulings. I didn't know they'd be openly OKAY with Tahreef.

Wow Hani, I'm somewhat shocked at Herz's view there. Why isn't anyone even correcting him? We get all these reactions for criticising Tijani, and he gets none for admitting that the Qur'an has been tampered with?!

Apparently, you can get away with anything as long as you are a Shi'ee on SC.
