Title: Sexism towards women in Nahjul Balagha?
Post by: Bolani Muslim on July 09, 2015, 02:05:15 AM
Salaam guys, I stumbled upon this and thought it seemed a bit harsh considering the fact that Hazrat Aisha (ra) narrated the most Hadith after Hazrat Abu Hurayra (ra) and is one of the most prominent scholars in Islamic History. Your thoughts? http://www.shiachat.com/forum/uploads/post-7863-1137659955.gif

From my understanding (not claiming it is fact, heard it from a Shi'i), Shi'as don't accept female hadeeth narrators.  Can any of the brothers who have access to Shi'a narrators confirm this?

I remember one of them saying that Ayesha رضي الله عنها was an immature teenage girl; and I thought to myself, "Wasn't Fatima رضي الله عنها also a young girl when she died?"  I ignored it until one of them said they don't take their religion from women, not even Fatimah.  So I would love if any brothers can do research on this
