I don't know. But I don't think "war on shia" thing is true. He is probably speaking in support of the operation against the Houthis.

Lets not exaggerate.

it would be awkward if he really said that, there are thousands iranian shia in al haramain remember?  the last time an imam criticise shia/iran openly, he was banned for a while (remember nabawi's imam al huzaifi?). I think its unlikely he said it, but then again maybe it's different situation now.

well if it is true then it would be obvious. It certainly wouldn't be a surprise if he said that.

Surely he wouldn't declare war on Israel for the sake of Palestinians, now would he????

This would be against his principals or he just doesn't have it with in him.

Seems some people writing in the comments that it isn't him and it's not his voice? Too bad I don't know what he sounds like because I've never listened to any of his sermons.
