Title: Special Powers presented by Prophets and Imams
Post by: Rationalist on April 22, 2017, 05:18:44 AM
In Islam we have to believe in the miracles of Prophets that are mentioned in the Quran and authentic hadith. However, miracles which are not mentioned in the Quran and are not done by Prophets are not binding on the Muslims. Nor can it be used as proof. The other aspect to realize is Prophets have not perform  miracles at their own will. Instead it was at random where Allah willed to miracles to occur and it is only he who willed them to happen instead of Prophets willing it to happen.

Now with the miracles of Imams, here is a case where the 12th Imam has unlimited access to wahi when it comes to being a judge. In fact, the 12er Shia admits that the Mahdi will have more access to wahi than the Prophet (pbuh) himself.
