Title: The degree between kufr
Post by: Zlatan Ibrahimovic on January 20, 2018, 01:27:00 PM
Where do Sunnis draw the line when it comes to those who do not have good opinions on the sahaba?

Can someone tell me which one of these makes someone an apostate?

- claims certain sahaba are fasiq

- claims certain sahaba are kafir

- insults (sabb) the sahaba

- criticises the sahaba and disagrees with their decisions (for example disagreeing with Mu'awiyah)

- has unorthodox opinions on whose better (e.g would favour Ali over Umar)

In my opinion, none of the above, this also includes Nawasib.

But if one wants to be strict, the case can be made for those who declare some of the top ranking ones who we know for a fact are believers.

Takfir is one of the easiest things to do.
