 Description
This classical work presents authentic hadith about the first four Khalifahs of Islam, may Allah be pleased with them, illustrating both the integrity and wisdom that they displayed in governance. This book also highlights their contributions to that body of practice which is known as the Sunnah.

Did it happen like this in the shia history?
Or did someone get history wrong?
Or did you get history wrong?
Or are you stubborn and do not want to follow the truth?

They pick and chose what they like from history. Examples:

- Most modern day Shias completely reject the very existence of Ibn Saba', although hes mentioned in all those Sunni history books they are normally obsessed with. They suddenly become hadithists and claim all narrations about Ibn Saba' are fabricated (that's a lie, there are Sahih ones).

- However, when it comes to attacking the Sahabah, they suddenly forget authenticity and pick and chose any narration that suits their sect, even from Kanz al-'Ummal (some book written a thousand year after hijra in India!).

- Having the power over the words of their own Imams, i.e. whatever doesn't fit their Madhab (like Imams washing their feet in wudhu) is quickly explained away with taqiyyah.

The book seems to be a combination of Al Suyuti's Tareekh with the explanation of the fitna by the author of Al Awasim.

Good stuff.
