As Salaam Aleykam
Can any of the brothers shed light on this:
http://www.shiapen.com/comprehensive/sunni-myth-love-adherence-ahlulbayt-as/blasphemous-views-on-ahlulbayt-as.html
Also is it true that Imam Ahmad said of Imam Jafar that he is nothing?

Youpuncturedtheark website has responded to this, if I am not mistaken.

Jazakhallah khairan. The site is very useful indeed.

Found it, I suppose this is the one which farid is talking about:

though not every report mentioned in the shia link is answered.
However is it true the shia site were deceiving when they allege that Imam Ahmed said of Imam Jafar Sadiq that he 'is nothing'. Rather what Imam Ahmad said was there is nothing wrong in him? Which is completely the opposite of what the shia claim & is a twisting of words. Is this true?

I guess they didn't cover each and every argument because, those were regarding the weakening of some later Shi'i Imams, and they made a detailed refutation which covered this issue. What they established is that, weakening the narrating capability of a narrator doesn't necessarily mean that they hate those narrators. If that was true the one could argue that Ahl Sunnah scholars even authenticated some innovators like Shiah, or Khawarij and others, but no sane critic could argue that this indicates love for those innovators. Loving or respecting a person doesn't revolves around his credibility as narrator.
Also if weakening certain narrators from Ahlulbayt means Ahl sunnah doesn't love them, then Shiah have abandoned a large portion of Ahlulbayt, and they consider many of them to be deviants, so does it mean that Shiah don't love Ahlulbayt?
