Is 'Ali (ra) from the nafs of the Prophet(saw)?

Shias use the event of mubaahala, and the following verse to make this statement:

Then whoever argues with you about it after [this] knowledge has come to you - say, "Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves, then supplicate earnestly [together] and invoke the curse of Allah upon the liars [among us]."

Qur'an 3:61

They say that because Allah (swt) used "ourselves", this must imply that 'Ali (ra) and Rasul Allah (saw) are the same soul.

Allah (swt) also said:

There has certainly come to you a Messenger from among yourselves. Grievous to him is what you suffer; [he is] concerned over you and to the believers is kind and merciful.

Qur'an 9:128

Here the term "from among yourselves" is used for all the people.

Were Rasul Allah (saw) and all the people from the same soul?
