Salam Alaykum,
This is basically from my side: However, what I need are more similar references if they do exist, in order to counter the potential claim of taking outlier opinions of Shia scholars and presenting them as the norm.

Shia imamah is so convincing that it even provides proof to disprove itself :)

Focussing on mutah? It is established on tawatur level in Shia hadith, rejecting it results in disbelief according to shiism. So pointing out the errors in this concept will do a huge damage.

Wa Salam,
Not so sure about inserting the position of Mutah and how it compares with regards to this matter of the Qur'an. As I said, it is best to find more similar quotes by scholars of Shiaism [I feel Ahaadeeth are not enough, because there are rules due to which the apparent meaning of the Hadeeth may be diluted or rejected, and these are present amongst us Sunnis as well, but if the scholarly principle is shown that there is no belief-based obligation to hold on to the indubitability of the Quran in our hands, then this is a higher level of research and argumentation].
