Assalam o Alaikum,
If we compare 48:2 with 33:33 then do it not also prove infallibility for all those who are addressed there?
[Malik 48:2] So that Allah may forgive your past as well as your future sins, and may perfect His blessings upon you, and keep you on the Right Way.
[Malik 33:33] (part of verse) O people of the household of Rasool, Allah only intends to remove uncleanliness from you and to purify you completely.

Wallahu a'lam but from the reading of the first ayah shows that sahabah were indeed fallible. Allah said He will forgive future sins. What is future sins if not mistakes done in the future. That shows sahabah were not free from any mistakes.

I know brother, none of the above verses prove infallibility. This is what shia logic say about 33:33 but they dont apply the same to 48:2. Double standards.
This shows they dont follow Quran but some manmade fabricated reports. Quran do not support any of their false belief.

Similar thread, this can be stretched to mean infallibility

To further expose their deviance, you can challenge them to quote any authentic hadeeth from their Imams where they made tafseer of 33:33 provingg their infallibility.
