Title: When should we pray maghrib and break fast?
Post by: Bolani Muslim on December 15, 2015, 12:41:09 AM
Shias like to use 2:187 to 'prove' that we should break the fast when the redness in the sky is gone. I read articles about it, but they don't mention this verse. Can any Arabic speakers pitch in?

...and eat and drink until the white thread (light) of dawn appears to you distinct from the black thread (darkness of night), then complete your Saum (fast) till the nightfall....
