General Sunni-Shia / Re: Deception of TSN surrounding Hadith at-Thaqalayn
« Last post by Noor-us-Sunnah on December 09, 2019, 09:47:14 AM »
Your appeal to the Sahabi Zayd concerning the understanding of this tradition does not hold water. In Saheeh Muslim, and we know for certain he narrated it during very old age when he complained of memory problems, he is adamant that the Ahlulbayt do not include the wives. If your scholars themselves claim that it is common knowledge the Ahlulbayt include the wives, you can not have your cake and eat it, so to speak dear brother.
No one is challenging the understanding of Zayd bin Arqam(RA) it is unchallenged  and spotless, for the obvious reason that he witnessed the event when Prophet(S) said those words. I'll give a chance to someone saying he missed some wordings while narrating it due to old age, but no way one could say that he misunderstood that Ahl al-bayt are all those members of household whom upon acceptance of was forbidden. That would be a preposterous claim, because even old age wouldn't make him form that view.

But yes, he was mistaken in it's application(NOT UNDERSTANDING) because he wasn't aware of the special status of wives of Prophet(S) in regards to not receiving Sadaqa(charity), which was contrary to wives of common Muslims. Yet, Zayd(RA) did consider wives to part of Ahl al-bayt in general, which implies that they are still part of Ahl al-bayt mentioned in Tatheer, since Thaqalayn and Tatheer have no relation. Because your own reports doesn't count Fatima(RA) in Thaqalayn. So, even if you want to go with Zayd's(R) view that wives of Prophet(S) weren't eligible to receive Charity, as some Sunni fuqaha do hold, then that's not an issue, because it still disapproves your misinterpretation of Hadeeth Thaqalayn which is contrary to the understanding of an eye-witness Sahabi.

The Imam doesn't contradict himself. Fiqh rulings are made and passed on due to circumstances, situations and conditions. It depends on what you face. Nothing awkward or difficult to understand. Listen to the clip clearly but with an open mind.

Sure I agree with that. However, to make something a Sunnah when its not still does not open my mind how its possible.

Norman Finkelstein went to Iran, and the people of government told him that Khamaini doesn't allow anyone to question him. He in addition blocks all forms of criticism against himself.

That's not true. Freedom of speech and expression is open and allowed in Iran. But when it comes to certain individuals misusing freedom of speech and expression to cause mischief backed and funded by foreign powers then of course the local authorities will deal with it. They are not going to sit back and allow this. All I see and hear is absolute negativity about Iran. Complete criticism all the time. And that tells you how true and honest people are about Iran. You know how the Bahrain government treats it's people and how Saudi Arabia treats people of the South. But not a single word from any of you. This tells how just and right you are.

Hadith-Rijal / Re: is Al-Kafi 100 % authentic
« Last post by Shia not Rafidi on November 23, 2019, 01:26:49 PM »
They believe and say about the book Bukhari "haza sehih Bukhari baad az kitab e bari" meaning 'this is sehih Bukhari after the book of God'. That's how authentic they consider it. But go weak at the knees when we provide clear references from it. This is where they start to mutter.
my question was about Al-Kafi, you as a Shia, would like to shed some light on it plz? 😒

General Sunni-Shia / Re: Ibn Taymiyyah put in Jail by Muslims?
« Last post by Noor-us-Sunnah on November 19, 2019, 11:28:50 AM »
Why was Ibn Taymiyyah put in Jail by his Muslim community?  How did he become a prominent figure if his own Muslims disregarded his opinions?
Towards the end of his life, some people plotted against him because of his opinion about prohibiting people from visiting the graves of the Prophets, may Allah exalt their mention, and righteous people. So they spread a rumor among the people that he belittled the Prophets, may Allah exalt their mention. Accordingly, the judges of the four schools of Egypt ordered that he be imprisoned. So he was locked up in Damascus citadel.

In that citadel, Allah inspired him with the understanding of many meanings of the Quran and the basics of knowledge that many scholars would have wished to have.
During his captivity in the citadel, he used to say: “If I gave as much gold as that which would fill this citadel, I wouldn’t have been grateful enough for this grace of being imprisoned.”

When he was reminded of the people who had hurt and caused his imprisonment, he said: “I can never reward them for the good they brought to me.”

Ibn Taymiyyah may Allah have mercy upon him remained in jail in that citadel for about two years till he died in 728 A.H. At the time of his funeral prayer in the mosque, the soldiers surrounded the funeral to protect it from the overwhelming crowds. The number of people kept increasing till they filled up all the alleys, streets and markets. May Allah have mercy on this great scholar.

Salam alaykum,

I can imagine the Twelver saying the alteration is regarding the meaning not the words, but anyway...

One extra point is, Ali (RAA) was supposedly instructed to nevertheless stand down and drop the matter of Khilafah for the sake of Muslim unity, even while these narrations allude that these Sahabah are the worst of the worst people and say they are in the lowest part of Hellfire...Some serious lack of wisdom in such (alleged) instructions to Ali.

JazakAllah khair brother Abu Muhammad!

So Bayat-ul-Ghadeer took issue with this: "The Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'Allah created His creation, and when He had finished it, the womb, got up and caught hold of Allah..........'"

In other words, they are taking the translation of the meaning as literal interpretation without there being a mention of waist belt.

I am afraid these Bayat-ul-Ghadeer guys have a terrible future awaiting them.
