Salam Aylikoum.
Often I heard, even by sunni, that Mohamed ibn Abdel Wahab Has expeled Ahlu lbayt of Mecca. (Or by Saoud)
What's is the reality of that?
It's true that Ahlu lbayt must be guardian of Mecca?
Barak'Allah ou fikoum.

the last hashimi leader of al haram was king of jordan's great grandad. In the late 1910 with the help of the Brits, he rebelled against the khalifa, but then as usually the case, the brits who first helping them then abandon them. Later, their main rival, saud family defeated and expelled them. Since they are ahlulbayt, so maybe this is where the story comes from.

Banu Hashim are not exactly tasked with taking care of the site. It was specific people who had duties, for instance al-`Abbas was in charge of Siqayah, while some other tribe was in charge of the Ka`bah (they had the key) and so on... These same people I believe are still in charge of this duty until our day.
Makkah was ruled by the "Ashraf" before the "Wahhabi" movement came and defeated them.

But the ashraf was defeated by Abdel Wahab or by Saoud?

Sa`ud had the support of the Wahhabi movement.
