Imam Hussain's three conditions at Karbala makes no sense!

Mention who?  Imam Hussain (ra)?  For what?  Our religion is complete with or without Imam Hussain's (ra) sacrifice.

Again, what do you want us to mention?  Shias are stuck in the sixty years after the Holy Prophet (saw) left the world whereas the Sunni world is highly vested in the 23 Prophetic years.

(1) Why this attitude only for ahlul bayt?

This sounds like there is nothing in the life of Imam Hussain (as) that sunnis can learn and propagate.

(2) True. But the news of Karbala and merits of Hussain (as) are also vested in the 23 prophetic years.

(2) By that logic nothing should be mentioned when the days come. Then how will people learn about the life of Sahabah and Ahlul bayt. Through shia may be?

By that logic it remains as a personal choice, no need to argue over it as if its a prescribed Sunnah of Prophet(S) to be done in a particular month or day. It should be left upon the people. And they can learn it in any part of the year.

What attitude?  That Prophetic years trump everything else?  I adopt that attitude towards everyone and everything else!

Actually, Imam Hussain's (ra) legacy is a victim of Shi'i ghuloo which is why most Sunnis try to stay away from the mention of it.  A mere mention of his legacy, outside the established facts, would require hours of scrutiny, separating facts from myths.

Do you believe that Imam Hussain's (ra) only merit was his sacrifice at Karbala?  The mosque by my house declares during every Jummah (like today) that Imam Hassan and Imam Hussain - peace be upon them, their parents and grandfather - are the Leaders of the Youth of Paradise.  Karbala or no Karbala!
