I'm opposed to all similar blasphemy laws, the Prophet (saw) was insulted to his face and beaten yet he never executed those who insulted him or his wives.

if every shia is allowed to insult ummulmukminin in public then get away with it, theres definitely gonna be problem. Maybe mob lynching? Sunni shia riot? The authority prob know that inaction can result in bigger sunni shia trouble.
