Salam,

Can someone show me all of the relevant ayat in which the sahabah have been praised in the Quran?

the most often quoted is at-Tawbah 100
"And the first forerunners [in the faith] among the Muhajireen and the Ansar and those who followed them with good conduct - Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him, and He has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. That is the great attainment."

Shia will usually reply that it doesnt mean all sahaba were praised. Instead of saying that, shia should be worry that not 1 ayat even mentioned or praised 12 infallibles, but instead praising sahaba whom shia believed majority were wicked/hypocrites😆

Some verses of the Quran about the Companions (Sahaba) of Prophet (saw), especially the Muhajirin (emigrants) and Ansar (helpers).

[003:195]  And their Lord hath accepted of them, and answered them: “Never will I suffer to be lost the work of any of you, be he male or female: Ye are members, one of another: Those who have left their homes, or been driven out therefrom, or suffered harm in My Cause, or fought or been slain,- verily, indeed I shall wipe out their evil deeds from them, and admit them into Gardens with rivers flowing beneath;– A reward from the presence of God, and from His presence is the best of rewards.”

Does it include Ali? It is impossible as per Shia beliefs because according to Shias, he is infallible and doesn’t have evil deeds. So who are they?

[008:072]  Those who believed, and adopted exile, and fought for the Faith, with their property and their persons, in the cause of God, as well as those who gave (them) asylum and aid,- these are (all) friends and protectors, one of another. As to those who believed but came not into exile, ye owe no duty of protection to them until they come into exile; but if they seek your aid in religion, it is your duty to help them, except against a people with whom ye have a treaty of mutual alliance. And (remember) God seeth all that ye do.

Who fought with their property, besides by their selves?

[008:074]  Those who believe, and adopt exile, and fight for the Faith, in the cause of God as well as those who give (them) asylum and aid,- these are (all) in very truth the Believers: for them is the forgiveness of sins and a provision most generous.

Of course who can be better believers than those people. The Shia think they are the ones?

[008:075]  And those who accept Faith subsequently, and adopt exile, and fight for the Faith in your company,- they are of you. But kindred by blood have prior rights against each other in the Book of God. Verily God is well-acquainted with all things.

“Hussain is from me and I am from Hussain”. And what about these people?

[009:020]  Those who believe, and suffer exile and strive with might and main, in God’s cause, with their goods and their persons, have the highest rank in the sight of God: they are the people who will achieve (salvation).

Those who fought with their goods were special people. It doesn’t include Ali, Abu Dharr, Salman, Ammar and Bilal  :Salam: They were other than these great sahaba. Who were they?

[016:041]  To those who leave their homes in the cause of God, after suffering oppression,- We will assuredly give a goodly home in this world; but truly the reward of the Hereafter will be greater. If they only realised (this)!

Who suffered oppression?

[016:110]  But verily thy Lord,- to those who leave their homes after trials and persecutions,- and who thereafter strive and fight for the faith and patiently persevere,- Thy Lord, after all this is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Who suffered persecution?

[022:039]  To those against whom war is made, permission is given (to fight), because they are wronged;- and verily, God is most powerful for their aid;-
[022:040]  (They are) those who have been expelled from their homes in defiance of right,- (for no cause) except that they say, “our Lord is God” …

Indeed, they were expelled only due to Islam and they were oppressed. (source)

Companions as defined by Sunnis are more condemned in Quran than praised.

That is because the very people it praises are the people fought by who is now today known as "companions". That is by the Muslims who saw the Prophet.

Majority of these people fought the Prophet or didn't support him, till after the victory.

Now you say what about the original companions, well...there is two questions regarding this:

1. Was the praise to them such that it guarantees that they cannot turn on their backs?
2. Was majority safeguarded from these people?

As for one, it is obvious no such condition exists, and that Suratal Auli-Imran is a Surah that warns even these people can turn on their backs....

As for Two, again, there are verses showing good generations changed after the death of the founding Captain with respect to his successors and even during the life time.....

Now that said, I don't know what happened to majority of the good original companions. I don't know.

Even if the majority didn't turn on their backs from these people, Imam Ali would still be going with a minority vs a majority.

That is the original muhajareen and ansar were now a minority among the "companions". Most companions (people who saw the Prophet and were officially now Muslims) were people who fought him out of evil intentions and accepted Islam reluctantly.

And so there is no way to know now,  I will not speak evil of people the Quran praises but assume the majority of them remained on the path.

As for the volatile people, the Quran is warning against, that is a different story.

A minority of Sahaba are praised while the majority are condemned in Quran as they fought the minority and opposed the minority and prosecuted the minority.

That's the same case with the sahaba of the Imams. Only a minority were true, but the majority are just people with claims.
Likewise is the same idea with the coming of the 12th Imam. For some reason the 12ers think he is some superman.

considering your mentally ill condition, lets just say the majority of sahaba were condemned in quran, still they were worthy to be mentioned as example and people who "follow them in good" are promised paradise. Now, where is something similar about 12 infallibles? Looks like the goodness of the minority of sahaba are more worthy to be mentioned than the 12. Maybe you have similar praise about 12 infallibles in your hiding scared mahdi's quran?
