shi'a claim of the companions from hadith in Sahih Al-Bukhari

Volume 8, Book 76, Number 578:

Narrated 'Abdullah: The Prophet said, "I am your predecessor at the Lake-Fount." 'Abdullah added: The Prophet said, "I am your predecessor at the Lake-Fount, and some of you will be brought in front of me till I will see them and then they will be taken away from me and I will say, 'O Lord, my companions!' It will be said, 'You do not know what they did after you had left.'

This Hadith refers specifically to the Sahabis who became apostates after he died and followed false prophets like Musaylimah. Today they aren't counted as Sahabis but during the prophets time they would have been known as Sahabis.

This is in fact the most logical conclusion as the Ansar and Muhajireen can't be one of this group since the Qur'an makes it clear they are in Jannah in Surat at Tawbah verse 100.
