"Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him), He is `Abdullah ibn `Uthman bin `Amir bin `Amro bin Ka`b bin Sa`d bin Taym bin Murrah bin Ka`b bin Lu’ayy bin Ghalib bin Fihr al-Qurashi al-Taymi. His lineage unites with that of the Prophet (peace be upon him) in the sixth father Murrah ibn Ka`b."
I thought his name was Quhafah, not Abdullah. Am I mistaken?
Page 4: He asked him: “Is this awaited prophet from us or you or from the people pf Palestine perhaps?”
*Of, not pf
P.S. I'm really enjoying it so far.
-
His name is `Abdullah, his father's name is `Uthman. They call his father by the title "Abu Quhafah" which makes Abu Bakr "Ibn Abi Quhafah".
-
Ahsant akh Hani!
May Allah (swt) place you with your beloved, and our beloved - Abu Bakr as-Siddique - Rathi Allahu 'Anhu.

His name is `Abdullah, his father's name is `Uthman. They call his father by the title "Abu Quhafah" which makes Abu Bakr "Ibn Abi Quhafah".
And Abubakr was his nickname.

I thought his name was Quhafah, not Abdullah. Am I mistaken?
I'm sure you got that from Khutba Shaqshaqiya. However, even in that Imam Ali (as) says the son of Quhafah. On top of that even Quhafah is a nick name for his father whose real name is Uthman.

Can't bother, the most i'll do is correct the mistakes.
-
Book re-uploaded, a few mistakes fixed.
-
It's comprehensive and a good at showing the 'full story' since often only certain narrations are used which provides a somewhat narrow version of history.
-
^ I would've included a lot more traditions under most chapters, they provide a lot more details about many events in history. I just didn't think of the project as a "history book" so I didn't include them.
