The bottom line is the Ahlul bayt in the Sunni and Zaidi books did not believe in it.

The Zaydi Shia and Isma`eeli Shia do not believe in Mut`ah and both of these Shia sects attribute to `Ali and Zayd and Ja`far that they considered Mut`ah to be adultery and forbidden.

I actually challenge a 12er to post ahadith from their own books that Muta cannot have flexibility  to be performed on the basis of lust.

Again this condition can only be for mominoon who have never fornicated in their life. However, for fornicators its a totally different story.
