So, I met with Bro Husayn over on Twitter and he published this article some time later. I have a couple questions though.

I saw bro Husayn beef with this Rafidi moron named @Mki_90 couple months back. Ex-Sunni, now Rafidi apostate from Islam. Anyways, I saw him debate with many Sunnis, husayn being the one I remember. He had a habit of of quoting this surah

Yes, but the Shia understanding is not that. They hold the view that Allah told Nuh and Lut that their wives were going to enter Jahannam and that they continued to stay married to them while having that knowledge. It is only in Surah 11:81 that Lut becomes aware if the outcome of his wife only one night before her death. This is unlike the case with A'isha who was married to the Prophet peace be upon him for a decade and was made a kaffir since Surat Al Tahreem was revealed.

Inshallah this is clear now. Should this explanation be added to the article?

That is not the only issue. Even if they say that, you can simply ask them if it was allowed for Muslims in the beginning to stay married to disbelieving women and if it was later forbidden. Then you can quote this verse:

60:10
Sahih International
O you who have believed, when the believing women come to you as emigrants, examine them. Allah is most knowing as to their faith. And if you know them to be believers, then do not return them to the disbelievers; they are not lawful [wives] for them, nor are they lawful [husbands] for them. But give the disbelievers what they have spent. And there is no blame upon you if you marry them when you have given them their due compensation. And hold not to marriage bonds with disbelieving women, but ask for what you have spent and let them ask for what they have spent. That is the judgement of Allah ; He judges between you. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.

So what was allowed before is specifically prohibited after. The examples of previous people will be of no use then because they have to show that the same rules applied to them at that time.
