Sunni beliefs regarding the Sahaba of Prophet Muhammad (saw)

A generation so magnificent and outstanding that Allah chose them to be the friends and companions of His beloved Messenger.

No group of people ever walked the surface of this earth whom our Prophet (peace be upon him) loved more than his beloved companions.

Allah loved this generation to such an extent that from above the seven heavens He revealed verses of the Qur'an in praise of all of them!

They are the best of generations that carried the light of Islam to us and in their lives and sacrifices for Islam we find great role models for us even today.

This generation is none other than the noble Sahabah of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and their status in Sunni Islam is second only to Allah and His Prophets (peace be upon them all).
