Title: site blocked in India!
Post by: Farid on March 16, 2016, 11:33:02 PM
See new banner on: Twelvershia.net

Even though we are against this ban, we are very proud that Shias have been cornered into this.

Cowards, they refuse debates and then they escape. A hidden coward and his coward followers. I can't believe they blame `Umar of cowardice even though he's a million times braver than all of them.

Indian Muslims really need this website. I wouldn't mind if it was blocked in lebanon or palestine, but Indians need this to counter Shia propaganda since their arabic is weak.

^ The error that users are showing us is that the telecommunications department has blocked the site.

I can provide screenshots.

Ofcourse, but many anti shia sites are banned here, and even any nasheed if you try to "download" here on Palestine & syria it shows error, as i have noticed !

Maybe the brother has set a proxy as an add-on in Opera, Firefox also has plug-in proxies if I recall. Try to figure it so we can put instruction son the site to permit the users from accessing it via that method.

Even if it is accessible from certain parts of Hindustan the bitter reality (for the Shias) is that this site is kicking arse.

^yes site is accessible from Firefox too, and there's no problem, in my opinion signout from "particular" browser and then proceed, and ofcourse setting too matters !

It's NO coincidence that many people in India can't access this site. This site has certainly been targeted to be censored. That underlying cannot be denied.

Abu Muslim, please share screenshots of Indian viewers that were not able to access the site.

The message:
“Your requested URL has been blocked as per the directions received from Department of Telecommunications, Government of India. Please contact administrator for more information.”

Shared by a brother on Facebook:

Another one:

There are several other people who reported the same problem.

Also, check the twelvershia.net facebook page where users from India say the same.

I have been getting messages about this for a month. Even one of our brothers that has written for the site has had trouble accessing it. Maybe it is banned in some states and not all.

Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi is linked with the BJP government. I am sure the 12ers have made complaints and got this done.

I think they were scared.

Because

Muslim + Knowlegde + Anglo-saxon pragmatism =  that's too much for Shias...

Victory for TS.

At the beginning when I have seen the shias propagand online I was rather worry.

But with, work and pragmatism we can easily renverse the trend.

Inchallah their propagand will be neutralized.

Brother simply one should leave mozilla settings data 'blank' and on opera too signout from opera and then proceed ! And if possible they will mention "proxy service can't access this site" so simply close data and 'reconnect' InshaAllah it will help and also my location setting used to be different and "always" close.

Do recall what the 12er Shia were spreading to each other during that election? They said if Sunnis fear BJP, we will support them. I even seen a 12er Shia say an enemy of my enemy is my friend.

if some say its blocked & others not, maybe its just a recommendation by the dept telcom? The ISP decides if they want to block or not? Not sure how it works in india, but some ISP would automatically add proxy setting to save bandwith if you use their installation CD.

Agreed, Indian Congress was with sunnis and visited offen "shahi imam (bukhari)" of jamah masjid 'Delhi' during elections, and shiite clerics showed there interest in bjp & assisted them !
And now iam able to login & post from chrome too here "Alhamdulillah".
