Either join in to answer my questions and address my points, engage in a positive and constructive discussion or stay quite and stop trying to divert attention. Me asking questions and making points results in me being emotional, why? Where do you see the emotions?
Your questions are for the brother not me.
"Divert attention"? You do that in every post on this forum. A member will ask a simple question and you'll reply in thousands of questions.
You accused the brother of lying. What proof do you have? The points you brought up are the same points typical rafida bring to prove that ex Shias are lying.
You want people to talk to you in a positive manner while you act like a sly rafida.

"Your questions are for the brother not me"

Then stay quiet unless you want to contribute in a positive manner.

"You do that in every post on this forum"

Give me one example.

"A member will ask a simple question and you'll reply in thousands of questions"

And I will give an in depth and detailed answer. But just to silence you, go on and ask a question and I'll give you a simple answer. But not an answer that you want and are looking for, that's the problem.

"You accused the brother of lying"

I don't accuse people, I'm not anti this or that. Accusing is what this site and its members do. All I did was put out the flaws in his post and addressed the accusations he made about Shiaism. I also expressed my thought and opinion since I believe in democracy. I didn't insult anyone or humiliate anyone's mother which I have experienced.

"The points you brought up are the same points typical rafida bring to prove that ex Shias are lying"

And the story that he's told has been mentioned and heard of many times over. It's been used as a propaganda technique and such tactics are being used.

If I am wrong, which I could be since I ain't arrogant or ignorant, then let him answer and address the key questions and points.

"You want people to talk to you in a positive manner while you act like a sly rafida"

No, I just want people not be afraid or hesitant like "oh, well you ask too many questions". Well build the strength and have the courage to at least answer some of them 😊

Is holding a grudge part of your positive manner?
If you're allowed to hijack people's thread than you shouldn't have any problem with me posting.
Please reread your posts. When you were asked about imamah you replied with questions instead giving an answer.

"To know someone you need to learn about them by getting to know them".   Did you take your own advice? Did you get to know the brother!? No you didn't, you just went on a rant.

Are you really that bias or prejudice or may be both. Can't you see or you don't want to see and turn a blind eye to what others say and how they behave. Why just focus on me. I don't hold a grudge, you hold it against Shias by the looks of it. What do you think this site is all about, and how do the members think and behave towards Shiaism and Shias.

I know your kind sitting on the sideline jumping in just to divert attention. Give it a rest and let the man respond. I'm sure he can look after himself.

I don't have a problem with you posting as long as you want to contribute. And that's not what you're doing. But I'll give you a chance and put you to the test. Shiaism is a culture according to you and I have problem leaving it. OK, you tell me what you believe in and why. Lets see what you've got.

Here you are, take a note of this.

One of the member did go to far but it's not like you didn't say anything either. Do you think I didn't see your snarky comments? You have victim mentality.
When the op responded you kept saying that he has been exposed. You came up with a bunch of generic excuses.
I believe that you're emotionally attached to your religion. You're like those old backwards type of people.

Can you defend Shia version of Ali? Why didn't he protect his family when they were being attacked?

Are you for real. I just asked you about your belief and faith. Tell me about it and help me move forward. 😊

"One of the member did go to far but it's not like you didn't say anything either"

And which member was that? And what exactly did I say?

"Do you think I didn't see your snarky"

And which comments were those? Do you even bother to see and read the comments of others? Or are we bias?

"You have victim mentality"

Thank you very much. So you know our history. You know how we have been looked upon and treated and still are. Any thoughts on human rights? Do they apply to us 😊

"When the op responded you kept saying that he has been exposed"

Just giving my opinion entirely based on what he said. It didn't add up. Neither did it make any sense. When telling a story, one should get it right first.

"You came up with a bunch of generic excuses"

No, not at all. Just brought out flaws within his tale.

"I believe that you're emotionally attached to your religion."

I'd like to hear what you believe in and why. I'm all yours. You have my undivided attention 😊

"You're like those old backwards type of people"

😀 I'm all yours. Lets hear it. Do your Dawah. I'm listening!

I've been through the thread. Rather than me commenting on and addressing every single point, why don't you put forward what ever bothers you and I will most certainly address it.

We are all born and raised with a mindset but it is down to us to either remain as such and accept what ever is according to that mindset and reject what ever goes against it without looking into it.

I can't speak for others but i have developed an open mind and I believe in justice, and that's for everyone. Mostly as you can see I get attacked and picked on because I am a Shia.

There is no discussion here and the boys don't want to discuss, they just want to toy and play. You're not blind and neither are the viewers. The sarcastic comments, childish behaviour, I'll manners, absurd attitude, insulting comments, false accusations, malicious lies etc are all there to be seen and viewed. They think the viewers are silly and dumb that they will buy anything they put forward and sell.

You or anyone else who is genuine and concerned then bismillah, in the name of Allah bring and put it forward but with a positive attitude and in a pleasant manner and I will be more than happy to answer and address. 😊

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem

Salam alaykoum wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuhu

So after a lot of research and sleepless nights i finally renounced Shiism. It has been a hard path so bear with me on that .
wa'alaikumussalam.
indeed, this is quite a very strange thing to say. have you not read page 56-57/208, The Life Of Imam Ali bin Muhammad Al-Hadi, Study and Anaysis?
under the subheading "refuting of compulsion and free will", your imam gave evidence which no other sects in Islam have ie hadith and Quran verifies it, that what you are upon is the true path.
Quote
Know, may Allah have mercy on you, that we looked up in the abundant traditions and news and we   found, for all Muslims who understand from Allah, them (traditions) not free from two meanings; either truth that is to be followed or falsehood that is to be avoided. The nation has agreed  unanimously with no disagreement between them that the Qur'an is the truth that has no doubt in it for Muslims of all sects.
Their agreement is the proof of the Book and that they are right and guided due to the saying of the messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and on his progeny), “My nation does not agree on  deviation.”
He told that what the entire nation agreed on is truth when no group disagrees with another.
The Qur'an is the truth that there is no difference between them (Muslims) in its revelation and truthfulness. So when the Qur'an witnesses the truthfulness of some news but a group of the nation denies it, they should acknowledge it as a necessity, for basically the nation has agreed unanimously on the truthfulness of the Qur'an, and if they deny, this requires them to be out of the (Muslim) nation...’
Imam al-Hadi (a.s.) says in this passage that Muslims must refer to the Qur'an, which falsehood shall not approach from before it nor from behind it, in the matters they disagree on and see that which agrees with the Qur'an is the truth and that which contradicts it is falsehood. Whoever believes this falsehood will be out of Islam.
He added, ‘The first news that is proved, witnessed, and confirmed by the Book is the saying of the messenger of Allah (SwT), ‘I leave to you the two weighty things; the Book of Allah and my household. You shall not go astray as long as you keep to them. They shall not separate until they shall come to me at the pond (in Paradise).’ We found the evidences of this tradition in the Book of Allah where Allah said,
Only Allah is your Vali and His Messenger and those who believe, those who keep up prayers and pay the poor-rate while they bow. And whoever takes Allah and His messenger and those who believe for a guardian, then surely the party of Allah are they that shall be triumphant. 93
All Muslim sects narrated traditions that Amir’ul- Mu’minin (a.s.) had given his ring as charity while he was bowing in prayer and Allah praised him for that and revealed this verse. We found the messenger of Allah (SwT) saying, ‘whoever I was his guardian, ‘Ali is to be his guardian’ and (addressing Imam ‘Ali),
‘you are to me as was Aaron to Moses but there will be no prophet after me’ and, ‘‘Ali repays my debts, carries out my promises, and he is my caliph over you after me’...
The tradition indicated clearly the caliphate of Imam ‘Ali (a.s.) after the Prophet (S) and that there was no one worthier of the Prophet (S) than Imam ‘Ali (a.s.), the pioneer of intellectual and civilizational development in the earth.’
Imam al-Hadi (a.s.) added, ‘The first tradition, from which these traditions were derived, is a true tradition that all Muslims have agreed on with no disagreement among them. It also conforms to the Book.
When the Book witnesses the truthfulness of these traditions besides other evidences, then the nation has to acknowledge them as a necessity, for their evidences are clear in the Qur'an and they conform to the Qur'an and the Qur'an conforms to them. Moreover, the truth of these traditions were transmitted from the messenger of Allah (SwT) through the truthful (infallible Imams) and narrated by known, reliable people.
Therefore, following these traditions is obligatory on every believing man and believing woman, and no one deviates except the obstinate. That is because the sayings of the messenger of Allah (SwT) and his progeny are connected with the sayings of Allah, as in this verse,
Surely (as for) those who speak evil things of Allah and His Messenger, Allah has cursed them in this world and the hereafter, and He has prepared for them a chastisement bringing disgrace. 94
We found the like of this verse in this saying of the messenger of Allah (SwT), ‘He, who harms ‘Ali, harms me, and who harms me harms Allah, and whoever harms Allah is about to be revenged on (by Allah)’ 95 and his saying, ‘He, who loves ‘Ali, loves me, and who loves me, loves Allah’ 96 , and, ‘...in bani Wulay’ah...I will send to them a man who is like myself. He loves Allah and His messenger and Allah and His messenger love him. O ‘Ali, get ready to march to them!’, and his saying on the day of Khaybar, ‘Tomorrow, I will send to them a man who loves Allah and His messenger, and Allah and His messenger love him. He is brave and not a runaway. He shall not come back until he shall conquer by the will of Allah.’ 97
The messenger of Allah (SwT) confirmed the conquer before the marching. The companions of the messenger of Allah looked forward to that, but on the next day, the messenger of Allah (SwT) sent for ‘Ali and sent him at the head of the army. He singled him out with this virtue and called him “brave and not a runaway”. Allah called him “a lover of Allah and His messenger” and informed that Allah and His messenger loved him.
sure hope you do not mind sharing a similar evidence, what you are upon now is the true path.
