Salam Aylikoum,

I have find this claims against Kaab here...

First page http://www.al-islam.org/shiite-encyclopedia-ahlul-bayt-dilp-team/companions-and-jewish-influence-part-1

If you or someone know the level of authenticity of all claim...

Barak'Allah Ou fik

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Regarding the first claim, that Ka'ab Al-Ahbar said the following:

"Every event that has taken place or will take place on any foot of the earth, is written in the Tourat (Old Testament), which Allah revelaed to his Prophet Moses (as)."

Source: Ibn Abdul Barr - al-Istiab, v3, p1287

My Reply: That is false, the chain of narration contains Muhammad Ibn Yazid Ibn Abi-Ziyad Al-Thaqafi (محمد بن يزيد بن أبي زياد الثقفي) .. and Al-Thaqafi is an unknown narrator (مجهول) according to Abu Hatim (أبو حاتم) in Taqreeb Al-Tahtheeb (تقريب التهذيب).

And the second claim, that Ka'ab Al-Ahbar said the following:

"Ka’b: Amir al-Mu’minin, you ought to write your will because you will die in three days.

Umar: How do you know that ?

Ka’b: I found it in the Book of God, the Taurat (Old Testament).

Umar: By God do you find Umar Ibn al-Khattab in the Old Testament ?

Ka’b: By God, no. But I found your description in the Old Testament and your time is coming to an end.

Umar: But I do not feel any pain or sickness

On the following day Ka’b came to Umar and said: Amir al-Mu’minin, one day has passed and you have only two more days.

The following day Ka’b came to him and said: Amir al-Mu’minin, two days have gone and you have only one day and one night remaining.

The following morning Abu Lulu appeared carrying a dagger with two heads and a handle in the middle. He hit Umar six times, one of them hit the Caliph in the navel, killing him.

My Reply: First of all, there are many stories narrated by the Rafidha in the History of al-Tabari, since the author (رحمه الله) didn't focus on the authenticity of what he was adding to his great book, instead, whatever he heard of, he put the chain of people of the people who narrated what he heard and simply put it in his book, and if you read the introduction of the History of al-Tabari he (al-Tabari) said that he has put narrations in the book that the reader might read some heinous narrations, and that he simply collected as much narrations as he could without checking its authenticity of them. This is what he said in his introduction in Arabic:

فما يكن في كتابي هذا من خبر ذكرناه عن بعض الماضين مما يستنكره قارئه، أو يستشنعه سامعه، من أجل أنه لم يعرف له وجها في الصحة، ولا معنى في الحقيقة، فليعلم انه لم يؤت في ذلك من قبلنا، وإنما أتى من قبل بعض ناقليه إلينا، وإنا إنما أدينا ذلك على نحو ما أدي إلينا

Also, al-Tabari is not a book that is one of the Sihaah al-Sitta (كتب الصحاح الستة), therefore, it is not an authentic book that Muslims trust and trust what it contains. Now this narration is weak, and the reason is the chain of narration contains Abdulaziz Ibn Abi-Thaabit, also known as Ibn Abdulrahman in the books of "Rijal." This is what the book Tahtheeb Al-Kamaal by Al-Mizzi says about him in Arabic:

Translation:

Uthman Ibn Saeed Al-Darumi said: I heard Yahya Ibn Mu'yin say: He (Abdulaziz Ibn Abi-Thaabit) is not trustworthy, he was a man of poetry.

Ali Ibn Al-Hussain Ibn Hubban said: I found a book handwritten by my father that Abu Zakariyya said: I saw Ibn Abi-Thaabit "the crippled" Al-Madeeni in Baghdad, he was cursing people, his hadith is not to be taken.

Al-Bukhari said: He (Abdulaziz Ibn Abi-Thaabit) is denounced (munkar), his hadith is not to be written down.

Al-Nisaa'i said: He is matruk. Surprise for the Rafidhah! www.al-islam.org .. the Rafidhi site says that a person who is matruk is a person who's known to be a liar! This is what the website says about the person who is said to be matruk by the scholars of hadith:

36. Al-matruk: It is a tradition in whose chain of transmission someone known to be a liar is mentioned.

Source: http://www.al-islam.org/al-tawhid/vol1-n12-3/outlines-development-science-hadith-dr-mustafa-awliyai/part-3

Al-Nisaa'i also said: His (Abdulaziz Ibn Abi-Thaabit) hadith is not to be written down.

Source of all the scholar's sayings about Abdulaziz Ibn Abu-Thaabit is the book Tahtheeb-ul Kamaal Fi Asmaa Al-Rijjal (تهذيب الكمال في أسماء الرجال) Volume 18 Pages 178-181: https://ia802205.us.archive.org/4/items/FP15392/tkar18.pdf

And the third claim, that Ka'ab Al-Ahbaar said the following:

"Kaab says that on the day of the judgement the sun and the moon will be brought forth like two (2) stupefide bulls and thrown to hell!

Upon hearing this Ibn Abbas (as) was enraged and retorted three (3) times:

Kaab is a liar!
Kaab is a liar!
Kaab is a liar!

This is a Jewish notion, and Kaab wants to introduce it into Islam. Allah is free from the things they attribute to Him. He never punishes those who obey. Have you not heard that Allah says in the Qur’an:

And He has made subject you the sun and the moon, both diligently pursuing their course (Ibrahim 33)

Ibn Abbas further said:
The word ‘Daibain’ used in this Verse denotes constant obedience to Allah.

Then he continued:

How can He punish these two (2) heavenly bodies whom He Himself praises for obedience. God curse the Jewish Scholar and his learning! What a shameless audacity to attribute Lies to Allah, and to impute guilt to the two (2) obedient creatures!

Having said this, Ibn Abbas said this three (3) times:

To Allah we belong and unto Him shall we return!
To Allah we belong and unto Him shall we return!
To Allah we belong and unto Him shall we return!

Then Ibn Abbas went on to narrate what the Prophet (Peace and Salutations to his cleansed and Pure Progeny) had actually said about the sun and the moon:

Allah created two sources of light! That which He named the Sun was like the Earth, between the points of rising and setting. And that which He ordained to be lustreless at times, He called the moon and made it smaller than the Sun. And both of them appear to be small because of their height in the sky and their distance from the earth.

My Reply: As I said in the reply to the second allegation made by the Raafidha against Ka'ab Al-Ahbaar, the History of al-Tabari is not a completely authentic book that Muslims take for granted, so it is not a completely authentic book that Muslims trust and its contents. Now the reason for this narration being false is the chain of narration contains Nuh (Noah/نوح) Ibn Jaami', and he is known in the books of 'Ilm al-Rijjal as a LIAR (وضاع). He also was a Murji (مرجئ). Here is a link to information about this LIAR:

May Allah guide us and the Rafidha to the truth.

Also, what makes this article weak my dear brothers is them removing the chain of narration on purpose, which made me go and look in the chain of narrators, and surprise surprise, all of the chain of narrations contained liars or people not trustworthy ;)
May Allah guide the Shi'a to the truth. Ameen.

Barak'Allah ou fik  ;D It's very important for my work about Abou Hourayra.

I'm very happy !

Because one chapter is about Kaab and Abou Hourayra in this refutation.

We must know also that many Ahlou lbidar in France who are not shia! say Kaab had influenced Ibn Taymiya!

This "imam" is very know in France !

Islam ibn Ahmad this BIG JAHYL says : Kaab Al Ahbar is the creator of NASIBI and ANTRHOPOMORPHISM!

For them Ibn Taymiya was influenced by Kaab for the anthropomorphism and for the tawhid sahih!

Islam ibn Ahmad is a type of pupil of Adnan Ibrahim!

They are against shias but also against sunni!

Look is BORD he talks about Ibn Sabaa but also about Kaab Al ahbar !

Insh'Allah you will continue with others articles! ;)

Abou Hourayra narrated that the messenger saws said:

"“There will come to the people years
of treachery (...) the Ruwaibidhah will decide matters.”
It was said

 'Who are the Ruwaibidhah?'

The Prophet replied:

 “Vile and
ignorant men who will speak in the affairs of the people.”

Hamdoullah.

I think it's very very important to talk about this article about "Jewish Influence" because All Ahlou lBIdar they used the case "Kaab" for fight Ahlou Lsounna. :(

May Allah help you in this work!  :) Like that I will have all the puzzle about Kaab.

It's not suprising that the man who difame Kaab is Murji Because Murji are against "Anthropomorphism". And Kaab is the "good" target for them...

And for them "Anthropomorphism" = "Litteralism"= "Jewish influence"
