I'm saying for similar reasons Jews and Christians held on to some real teachings but mixed with false teachings in attribution to their Prophets and God, the same is true of this dispute.

That is my point, you say "this dispute" but the third example isn't a dispute or controversial. I also don't know of an example that is like the third example I mentioned among Jews and Christians, all would be like the first example. It makes sense that evidence that disproves you, you will have an incentive or a reason to remove or hide that evidence. When it comes to evidence that supports you, agree with and also teach or is not controversial at all among the different groups, what reason would you have to remove that?

It would be like having explicit references of the Prophethood of our Prophet(ﷺ) in the Bible being removed by Christians(first example), other references of the Prophethood of our Prophet(ﷺ) being reinterpreted to mean the Holy Spirit or John the Baptist(second example) and then for no obvious reason have any evidence removed that proves the Prophethood of John the Baptist for example, even though everyone agrees that he is a Prophet and this information is not controversial at all.

Or maybe you can show an example where this occurred among Jews and Christians. Also, saying that the reason is the same as the reason the Jews or Christians had, is still not answering what that reason exactly is. For the first example, a reason could be to remove any evidence that argues against what you teach. For the third, it is not clear to me yet as there is no obvious reason to remove what agrees with you and saying that the reason is the same doesn't answer that question.

It answers it, and I went to detail the first time before that post.
"Is it so bad, then, to be misunderstood? Pythagoras was misunderstood, and Socrates, and Jesus, and Luther, and Copernicus, and Galileo, and Newton, and every pure and wise spirit that ever took flesh. To be great is to be misunderstood.” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson, Self-Reliance
