Death of Awais al Qarni rehmatullah alhi

I was reading about the death accounts of Awais Al Qarni ra.. i got there were reports which say that
1, he participated in Battle of Saffeen n was martyred.
2, he was died during the period of Umar AlFarooq
3, from a shia source ,it is stated that he was martyred in some other battle.
i want to know .. is there any reliable report regarding his death incidents?
