Confused Shiite Doctrine of Imamate

السلام عليكم

I'd appreciate any feedback on some writing I've done explaining the historical confusion among the Shi'ites concerning the Imamate.

Wa 'alaikumussalam wa rahmatullah.

There are articles almost the same in content with those in your blog as below:

http://www.twelvershia.net/2015/07/15/the-confusing-history-of-shia-mahdi/

By the way, I do enjoy reading those articles of yours. It is easy to follow with details for each of their branch. Thank you brother…

Hey thanks. The first article is especially useful I've saved it for future reference. I feel that the best way to corner a Shi'ite in a debate is to insist that the discussion doesn't simply revolve around the theory of a divinely appointed Imamate, but to get the Shi'ite to answer which practical line of Imamate is true and why all the dozens of others are bogus. That's because the Shi'ite doesn't just condemn the non-Shi'ite to hell for not believing in the Imamate, the Shi'ite condemns all rival factions of Shi'ites to Hell for not having the correct line of Imamate.

I have another entry on my blog concerning the Shi'ite concept of the Imamate, and how they have to shamelessly distort the Holy Qur'an when they get cornered. I'm referring to the Verse:

http://islamsalvationfromhell.blogspot.ca/2017/06/shiite-distortion-of-sura-2574.html

And those who say, “Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an Imam for the righteous.”
(Sura 25:74)

The apparent meaning of this Verse is that Allah is praising those people who pray and ask Him to make them an Imam for the Righteous. But if the Imamate has been terminated with the 12th Imam, and an Imam is divinely appointed, an office that is Wahbi and not Qasbi then to pray to Allah to make one an Imam would be Kufr, just like it would be Kufr to pray to Allah to make one into a Nabi.

Interestingly, this point was put forward to the Shi'ite scholar Hasan Allahyari in his telephone debate by Sayyid Zafarullah Shah. Hasan Allahyari responded by saying that there is another recitation for this Verse, which basically means "Those who say, our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make for us from the righteous an Imam

So they changed the Verse which says وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا "make us an Imam for the Righteous" to واجعل لنا من المتقين إماما "make for us from among the righteous an Imam"

Of course, Hasan Allahyari openly confesses his doctrine of Tahrif in the Holy Qur'an. But in that debate he claimed this is simply an alternative reading of the verse. Even if it is an alternative reading (for the sake of argument), the fact remains that the ordinary Reading can't be negated, and the apparent meaning of the ordinary Reading simply demolishes the entire concept of the Imamate as held to be the Imamiya Shi'a.
