Shiaism growing globally?
« on: February 04, 2015, 03:16:54 AM »
I read a blog and watched a video from Press TV saying that Shiaism is gaining huge numbers of converts in extremely ignorant Sunni areas (not just Nigeria). I know I shouldn't feel bad for the converts, since they don't know better, but I'm wondering if it's something to worry about. Anyone got anymore info on this, thanks.

I've seen, first hand, how Shiis convert people, be they of Ahlul Sunnah, or non-believers.

Generally, they do not show any of these fine aspects of Rafidism:

- Constant cursing and abuse of the Prophet's wives.

- Constant cursing and abuse of the Companions.

- Constant cursing and abuse of Ahlul Sunnah.

- Constant cursing and abuse of everyone who is not a Rafidi in general.

They present Rafidism as a religion of love and logic.

Press TV is a boastful Liar as it is A Rafidi Media!
I have seen some baseless funny news from them about Afghanistan before.

You shouldn't feel bad for the converts, since they don't know better??? Really??? This is exactly what arrogance and ignorance is all about!

Well the converts don't have a mind set, they're not already programmed, brain washed. So two things are put forward to them, shiaism and Sunnism and they will go with what is based on reality and facts by Allah and not with what is based on incidents and events by the people.

The converts will go with the choice of taking Allah's Shariath and the Prophet's (pbuh) Sunnah from the most reliable and authentic source (Ahlul Baith) and not by strangers who came along years and years after with no background or connection.

They will take narrations and Hadiths by the most reliable and authentic chain and command (twelve Imams) and not through a chain you might consider strong or weak and refute on such grounds.

You mean from Kulayni and Saduq who claim they got it from "Ahlul-Bayt".

As far as this, it's no surprise, Christians do it also. They go to poor areas full of ignorance, they spend some cash, build their own Husayniyyat, offer some food, also offer for free education in Qum.

Then these students go to Qum, they fail intentionally so they'd remain there for as long as possible since the government pays all their expenses.

I'd love to see Shia spread their religion in Pagan areas instead of doing Da`wah in Sunni areas.

^ Shia and Ahmadiya missionaries only target Muslims.

In recent years there has been a lot of propaganda from both Shia and Ahmadiya that their numbers are growing in Africa. They target poor areas where most people (muslims) are very ignorant of their religion. They spread their poisonous beliefs in these areas in a very deceptive way like brother Husayn mentioned.

If one ignorant person falls prey to them, another 1000 non-Muslim enter Islam, this is the help of Allah.

I've met a few 'Sunnis' who became Shia. The first was raised back home and didn't know anything besides the 5 pillars. The other was a recent convert to Islam and read a book about Hazrat Ali, in the book it said that Shias like Hazrat Ali a lot, so he became shia after that  book(no joke). Now they're full on Rafidhi.

Speaking of "Shiasm growing globally", here's the real problem with "Shiasm":

Quote
The Iranian government has cracked down on religious freedom in a bid to stop the increase of Christianity, seeing it as a threat to the country’s majority ultra-orthodox Shiite Islamic religion.

An estimated 370,000 Christians live in Iran according to the latest report from the US State Department.

The UN reported continued: ‘[Iran’s] authorities continue to compel licensed Protestant churches to restrict Persian-speaking and Muslim-born Iranians from participating in services, and raids and forced closures of house churches are ongoing.

‘More than 300 Christians have been arrested since 2010, and dozens of church leaders and active community members have reportedly been convicted of national security crimes in connection with church activities, such as organizing prayer groups, proselytizing and attending Christian seminars abroad.’

Germany hasn’t seen since an Iranian migrant population this large since after the 1979 revolution. The association of Iranian refugees in Berlin says the number of Iranians coming to Germany has doubled every year for the last five years, from less than 1,000 in 2008 to 4,348 in 2012. Figures from the federal office for migration and refugees in Germany confirms this trend: with over 3,500 Iranians granted asylum last year, Iran was one of five countries from which Germany saw a rise in asylum applications.

Spread across multiple churches and asylum camps, Muslim- to-Christian converts from Iran make up a noticeable population of asylum seekers who say a growing crackdown on Muslim-born Christian converts back home (...)

The underground nature of the Christian conversion movement has made numbers impossible to determine accurately.

Estimates range from 300,000 to 500,000 by various sources.

Though these statistics cannot be independently verified, converts and pastors both in and out of Iran say the movement is strong and widely spread. Some converts have also been reported to travel to neighboring Armenia to become baptized.

Not just Christianity, Iranian Shia are converting to Zoroastrianism, to Buddhism, to everything other than Shiasm... Especially Atheism... I've met a lot of those during my studies in Dubai.

12er Shiaism is declining in Iran due to the population decline and low fertility, but it is growing outside of Iran. My Zaidi friend told me that Iran gives Yemeni Zaidi free ticket , visa,  food coverage and accommodation if they come to Iran and study the 12er Shia sect. So instead of focusing on internal problems, the Iran is trying  to win converts from outside the nation.

Also outside Iran in the Western countries they do a quds rally every year, and hand out dawah pamphlets.

This has been answered with plenty of evidences (of how Shiism is actually ROTTING within its fortress and how Sunnism is growing within Shia intellectuals):

And what does Saudi Arabia do with all its money generated from oil??? My friend, it does exactly the same thing along with the other Gulf states. Don't hesitate, don't be ashamed to balance the argument. It's a two way thing if this is how it is. You put one side of the story but people don't see with one eye. Yep!

That's great. Would you mind telling us what Saudi Arabia does, since we have heard a lot about Iran. Ooops! You're probably one sided and think that people are one eyed!

What does Saudi oil have to do with Iranians becoming Zoroastrian!? Can you tell us where Iranian oil money is going?

"Iran's Department of Statistics announced that 10 million Iranians live under the absolute poverty line and 30 million live under the relative poverty line."

source: Ten Million Iranians Under "Absolute Poverty Line". Radio Zamaneh, May 29, 2010. Retrieved May 28, 2010.

That's 40 million Iranians below poverty line, out of 75 million, meaning more than half the country.

Can I ask since you claim "Iran is clean", where is Iranian oil money going? To whose pockets?

Because the Iranian government keeps claiming they're inventing "new war planes" and "new spy drones" and "new advanced missiles", which all requires LOADS OF MONEY, whereas the people live in poverty.

The topic was about Shiasm growing globally, we showed some small samples of how rotten the religious condition inside Iran is, then you come asking about Saudi oil!? Stick to the topic for God's sake man!

Unlike Iran, Saudi is headed by a king not an ayatollah (I'm sure you'll understand). Sunnis don't mind pointing out 'issues' by Saudi, unlike Shias who keep quiet about issues occurring in Iran. If the King of Saudi is proven to be a 'bad guy' then it's no big deal to Sunni Islam, but if the Marja of Iran was corrupt then it would put a crack in the Usooli system of picking and choosing a marja (which is a modern invention anyway).

What is Saudi Arabia doing (I'm sure what you're trying to say)? I know Saudi has its problems, but I've never heard of Saudi converting ignorant Shias, but I may be wrong.

The fact about  Saudi Arabia is that the 12er Shia sect live around the oil resources, but they don't get any benefit from it.

^That's not true, don't repeat Rafidi lies. Have you ever been to the eastern province? The eastern province is majority SUNNI SHAFI'I with a Shia minority (in a few towns). Shias in the eastern province have large houwza's, schools and are well off (I can show you a number of Saudi Rafidi journalists and other high ranking Rafidi Saudis, something which is IMPOSSIBLE in Iran i.e. a Sunni being allowed to reach a high position anywhere).
